Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will soon be open and it is, in a word, amazing! Every facet of it was filled with amazing artwork and characters from Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and the Little Mermaid.
The image above is from the resort’s lobby. This is the check-in area and facing the wall you see here are images from Disney movies.
This is the slautherhouse at an abandoned farm in Winter Garden, FL. I have a couple of images coming up from a shoot inside the barn but you’ll have to wait for June for those.
Have to give a shout out to +Zachary Weyland who met me at 5:30am to go shoot this at sunrise.
Sunsets just don’t get much better than what you see in Florida.
It’s been a long day! Got up about 5am to shoot the sunrise over the Contemporary Hotel from the Grand Floridian. Got to the Grand Floridian at about 6am and shot quite a bit until the sun cleared the top of the Contemporary. I’m heading off to Tampa tomorrow for a couple of days of fun with the family, seeing some friends, and doing a little bit of shooting. Have a great weekend
Another one from Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club. I photographed this the same day I captured the corridor at the Yacht and Beach Club Convention Center. I was drawn to the texture in the chairs and the symmetry. Sometimes it’s the simple things that draw you in.
For a brief moment, we connected, his eyes looking through my lens as I captured his expression. He studied me as I studied him.
This one is from over the weekend near Orlando. I’ve ridden through this bike path in my little town more times than I can count, and I am fascinated by the lines leading the eye through. I decided to shoot this Friday and here it is; sometimes you just have to get certain shots out of your system- this was one of them, I just had to shoot it.
I relish walking the streets of the Old City of Jerusalem. The city has a rich history filled with epic tales of triumph, sorrow, and loss. There is also a peace and a tension to Jerusalem that coexist, which you can see it in her on the faces of her residents and perhaps even in the rich textures that comprise her. She is a microcosm of our world even if she is but a small sliver of it.
